What a Honor to have the Conewango Creek selected as 2015’s Pennsylvania River of the year! We look forward to sharing this wonderful area with visitors.

We would like to share a little bit about us! I returned to this area after serving in the Navy as a Seabee. I then went to work at a local factory, and my job was then outsourced. The silver lining is I returned to college and started a small canoe rental. Well, time flies!  We have been now been in operation for seven years. My family has called this area home for three generations. I learned to swim in the Conewango, as my father did before me, and fished along the creek with my Grandpa many sunny summer days . We have a deep respect for this area and do all we can to keep the creek clean and healthy. When you rent a kayak or canoe from us, we hand out trash bags for any stuff or debris you might find on your trip. Upon returning to the Livery with your bag full, we will refund one dollar for each bag. You may keep the dollar or donate it to the organization we have selected. Each year we choose a new group, and this year it’s the Ruth M. Smith Center in Sheffield, PA (a great organization  that works very hard in our area). We helped develop the Conewango Creek Waterway Trail and the annual Creek clean-up. We teach Kayaking and Canoe classes to Boy Scouts and work with Churches, Youth Groups, and individuals to help plan their trips. I can honestly say in my life a River truly runs through it. We really enjoy what we do and hope it shows! Thank you for  paddling with us and remember… “Relax and Go with the Flow on the Conewango”.
